Our role is education
WellSpring Lifestyle Retreat (WLR) is established to educate individuals in the principles and laws of healthful living as founded upon the Word of God. These laws are known by various acronyms, one of which is NEWSTART, the eight laws of health.
1.Nutrition
2.Exercise
3.Water
4.Sunshine
5.Temperance, including healthy relationships
6.Air
7.Rest
8.Trust in Divine Power
WLR does not practice medicine or substitute for it in any way. It is not our purpose to diagnose, treat, prescribe medications, or claim to cure any particular disease or condition. Our role is to assist willing individuals to acquire understanding of the functions of their bodies, how to preserve them in good health, how to cooperate with nature where health has declined, and to work with nature in restoring a state of wellness.
Neither WLR nor anyone associated with it functions as members of the allopathic (conventional) medical establishment. Any information conveyed by any means is given for educational purposes in fulfillment of their duty, as they understand it, to obey the command of Jesus Christ to heal using God’s natural remedies as delineated in the Bible.
Persons who come to WLR maintain the right to restore their health by whatever means they choose. It is their responsibility to ascertain the cause of disease, correct unhealthful habits and conditions, and assist nature in its effort to expel impurities and re-establish right conditions in their bodies. They reserve the right to consult with the physician of their choice at any before, during, or after consultation with WLR. Should any change occur in their condition for which they choose to seek the services of an allopathic, naturopathic, osteopathic, homeopathic, or chiropractic physician, after they have used natural remedies, or in the event that they use information from a consultation independent of a qualified consultant or practitioner, they, their families, friends, or any legatees will in no way hold WellSpring Lifestyle Retreat responsible.
