Meet the Board Members
Bill Daniels - President
Bill Daniels, BS, Indiana University, 1987, retired from Eli Lilly and Company in Indianapolis, Indiana, after 30 years of biomedical research. He was the first African-American in Lilly’s prestigious Drug Metabolism Department. He was the first African-American Technical Associate in the history of the company. He was a three-time Suggestion Award winner, and a charter member of the first Performance Excellence team in the history of Lilly Research Laboratories Among his lab partners was J.S. Horng, the bench discoverer of Prozac®.
He is certified by the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists in Depression Recovery, Stress Management, Forgiveness, 15 Days to Lower Blood Pressure, Coronary Health Improvement Project, and Addiction Recovery and Search Your Heart (Tennessee Department of Health). He was also a Group Leader in the Strengthening Families Program run by Centerstone Counseling Center. He was a lay charter member of the American Association of Christian Counselors
Louise Daniels - Vice President and Treasurer
Louise Daniels, RN, BS, Social Work, 1976, BSN, Nursing, 1977, Columbia Union College (now Washington Adventist University), CMT, 2009, Cumberland Institute, has been a registered nurse since 1977. She has worked at a variety of hospitals, including Washington Adventist Hospital in Washington, D.C., Meharry Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, Riverside Adventist Hospital in Nashville, and Hillside Hospital in Pulaski, Tennessee, in a variety of settings, including medical-surgical, Coronary Care Unit, Intensive Care Unit, and in mental health wards, and as a Charge Nurse. She has also worked in the nursing home setting as a Charge Nurse. She is also experienced as a home health, private duty, and dialysis nurse. She worked as the nurse for Philadelphia area physician, Dr. Warren Harrison, an MD specializing in natural therapies.
She is certified by the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists in Depression Recovery, Vegetarian Cuisine, Breathe Free Smoking Cessation, Community Health Assessments, Forgiveness, 15 Days to Lower Blood Pressure, Eight Weeks to Wellness, Fitness for Life, Coronary Health Improvement Project, Addiction Recovery, and Puppet Ministry. She is certified in hydrotherapy by Dr. Charles Thomas (Andrews University) and Search Your Heart (Tennessee Department of Health)
Catherine Hicks - Secretary
Catherine Hicks, LPN, obtained her LPN in Philadelphia, PA, from the James Martin School of Nursing in 1967. She passed her boards in 1967 and worked at various hospitals in the Greater Philadelphia area. She was trained as a Massage Therapist at Ridge Career Center in Winter Haven, Florida, and was licensed by the State of Florida in 1998 She was a Literature Evangelist for the Allegheny East Conference of Seventh-day Adventists for 10 years.
She is certified by the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists in vegetarian cuisine. She has been a lay Bible Worker since 1965 and continues in that ministry to this day.
Lucius Moss - Direct of Public Relations
Pastor Lucius Moss has been involved in pastoral ministry for nearly 40 years. He attended Oakwood University (then Oakwood College) and was trained by the late Elder E.C. Ward, then pastor of Oakwood College Church and the late Dr. E.E. Cleveland, World Evangelist for the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. He served as an ordained local elder and Pastor in the South Central Conference of Seventh-day Adventists under the auspices of Elder Ward. He also worked in the Southwest Region Conference of Seventh-day Adventists under Elder Norman Stiggers doing fund-raising and community outreach work. Pastor Moss has non-profit work experience in Point Man Ministries and holds his own 501-C-3 as the founder of Moss Ideas Inc. He has assisted in the disaster relief efforts at Battlefield Ministries in Harvest, Alabama, under its founder, Pastor Melvin Allen. He has been assisting at WellSpring Lifestyle Retreat since 2010 as our chief fund-raiser and publicist.
Inga Goodwin - Webmaster
Inga Goodwin has been actively involved in lay health ministry and education since 2003 when she completed her studies at Wildwood Lifestyle Center and Hospital in Wildwood, Georgia. At Wildwood, she earned certificates in Health Evangelism, Swedish Massage, and Hydrotherapy. From 2004 to 2007 she fulfilled various roles at Wildwood as a full-time missionary, including seminar coordinator, Bible worker, teacher and administrative assistant to the President. In 2008, she participated in an 8-month apprenticeship in midwifery under Heather Wilson, CPM. In 2015 she earned her Childbirth Educator Certification. Currently, Inga also runs the website, Bonded from Birth, which is dedicated to educating women on fertility charting. Through Bonded from Birth, Inga corresponds with and teaches women around the world on fertility awareness, a natural form of family planning.
Mrs. Goodwin has a bachelor's degree in engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University of Richmond, VA and a certificate in professional bookkeeping from the Universal Accounting Center. She resides in Richmond, Virginia with her husband, son, and daughter. She works with her husband in their business, Goodwin Enterprises, LLC.
