Americorps NCCC, an agency of the U.S. Department of Labor, a group of volunteer youth, a sort of domestic "Peace Corps" that helps nonprofits do various projects, is coming to help us here at WelSpring, May 21-June 8, 2012. Specifically, they will be helping us upgrade two of our buildings by helping us build a deck with a handicap ramp for each one. They will also help us upgrade our greenhouse, build growboxes for our garden, and put a housing on our spring.
Anyone with a zero turn mower or tractor with a finishing mower is welcome to come by and help us beautify the campus. We will need site supervisors and tradesmen of nearly every description to see that their visit goes smoothly.
